FSU Museum of Fine Arts showcases work of artists with autism

Florida State University is holding its 3rd annual “Artist and Autism” exhibition series at the FSU Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibit started on February 17th and will continue to be on display until March 26th. The art showcase is a collaboration of FSU Center of Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) and VSA Florida, an arts education program. The exhibit was started by CARD autism consultant Allison Leatzow after realizing the creativity and talent exhibited by some of the individuals she worked with at CARD. This year’s exhibit was titled “Honest Visions” and is made up of a vast array of artwork from portraits and space models to hand crafted instrument and poetry. Learn more about the exhibit here
